How to Get More for your Things

Clothes

1. Bring in current styles in
    good condition -- free from
    stains,  fading or excess
    wear.

2. Freshly launder your
   clothes and lay them flat
   in a box or basket. Wrinkle
   free is best.

3. Put outfits together as
   they are usually worth
   more and we're more likely
   to accept them.

4. Wash or wipe down shoes

5. Remember to bring
   outerwear and accessories
   like belts, hats & gloves.

Toys

1. Toys must be clean and in
    good working order, with
    plenty of play value.

2. Put parts and pieces in
    plastic bags so we can
    quickly determine if the toy
    is complete.

3. Kid to Kid tests battery
    toys and checks for rust or
    corrosion. If your toys have
    batteries, leave them in. If
    not, we'll test it with ours.

4. Kid to Kid carefully screens
    products for safety. We
    cannot buy items that have
    been recalled or which do
    not meet current safety
    standards.

 

Baby Gear

1. Equipment and furniture   
    must be clean, safe and in
    good working order.

2. Wipe down or clean the
    items so they are ready to
    be used by another child.

3. Wash fabric covers
    (strollers, carseats, bouncy
    seats, etc.) and hang to dry
    before selling.

4. Kid to Kid carefully screens
    products for safety. We
    cannot buy items that have
    been recalled or which do not
    meet current safety
    standards.

How Much will I Earn?

Your payment amount depends on the types of items we buy from you and how you take your payment.

Our computer calculates an offer based on the types of items you bring in.  You receive more for large toys and baby gear than for sleepers and onesies, and a higher percentage for designer labels than for discount brands.

You earn the most when you take your payment in store credit.  Our system keeps track of your credit total for you.  Spend it all at once, or take up to three years to use it all.

Our customers are picky, and so are our buyers.  Don’t be offended if we don’t take everything you bring in.  Most stores offer a donation service for the things we can’t use – so you can feel good that your things will go to a good cause.
